Call for Papers
SRMC'22 is a forum for researchers and practitioners interested in reliability and security problems and solutions for microservices and containers. We welcome original papers that have not been previously published elsewhere in the following categories:
- Regular papers of 6-10 pages
- Short papers of 4-5 pages
- Work-in-progress papers of 4-5 pages
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Real-world studies of cyber-attacks on containers
- Secure and reliable microservices architecture
- Intrusion detection and prevention systems for microservices and containers
- Machine learning and/or deep learning-based attack detection for containers
- Security evaluation of different container platforms
- Security of container orchestration platforms
- Security and reliability case studies of applications utilizing microservices architecture
- Tools for automated vulnerability analysis in containers
Submission
All papers should be formatted based on the IEEE two-column format for conference proceedings and submitted at
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=srmc22.
Extended versions of relevant papers will be invited for submission to the
Special Issue on AI-Driven Security in 5G and Beyond under ITU Journal of Future and Evolving Technologies.
Paper Selection Process
All submitted papers will be reviewed by at least three independent professionals. Selected papers will be pulished in the workshop proceedings. The review process will be single-blind, i.e. authors may include their names and affiliations in the submitted papers.

- Author Notification: July 15, 2022
- Final Papers Due: July 29, 2022
- Workshop Day: September 19, 2022
Best Paper Award
All accepted papers will be considered for the workshop's best paper award.
